Bugta is a message from the Talaandig tribe for Copenhagen. The Talaandig community will hold a ritual during the Copenhagen summit, to pray for the leaders to protect the earth, and guarantee justice for all beings.    Perfect. It’s beautiful and moving to see how the Talaandig express their sadness. Their intention to hold a ritual and pray for the protection fo the earth during the summit seems to me to be such a supportive and constructive way to bring about change… without escalating the feelings of despair, anger and condemation that so often come up when we really tune into what we are collectively doing to the earth.

   Well done -it captured my imagination -it was simple stark and to the point – I have seen too many videos of trees being felled and machinery – to me this had more impact. Congratulations

   Beautifully executed film with a stark and moving message – the sadness is mingled with the message at the end about the prayer, which brings hope. Very original concept, the images stay with you, as does the simple music. Well done.

   As the face emerged I thought it was of Lord Buddha, but there was no smile… We have desecrated the Earth to such an extent that even our deities grieve.

    The IPs, and the shamans, all over the world have a great role for the realization of healing ritual of Mother Earth. The Mindanao synergy must be strong enough to connect to the Divine righteous energy manifested among peoples who have made their peaceful pact and tribute to their homelands, as witnessed by their spirit guides, families and allies. Together, all peoples must have the courage to stand firm on their principles to be part of the keepers of land and to protect its heritage for the benefit of humanity.     Very few 1-minute videos can capture the viewers’ emotions in such a compelling manner, this is one of those videos. What an accomplishment. It Definitely deserves a 10 on the scorecard.

    Earth is the mother for us… the soul of the human culture… and you totally find how to explore it to become of our concern… I think this film has to show in Copenhagen.

    I think your video is super, i really liked the way you thought out of the box showing the earth to be part of us and the personification used when you said the earth is crying.

    In a competition, there are always finalists and those who don’t get through. The problem we had was that there were so many fantastic videos to choose from that there was inevitably going to be great films that didn’t make it, especially as we had to meet a criteria for each category.

    However, we’ve decided to rectify this a little and reward 5 more great videos. These have been added to the shortlist and will also guaranteed receive a subscription to Shooting People. They will be on our homepage soon.
