Experiment to show volume of oxygen in air. When oxygen is consumed by flame the volume of air is reduced and the water rises to displace it. We are nurtured by finite resources.    Global warming is a serious problem in the world.When the temperature rises all ice rocks in polar region get melted.so the level of sea is rise up.This leads to flooding.And also natural water cycle is disturbed.Eventually all human beings are disturbed.

   Yes I am staggeringly shocked that this got through. If I had to bet on one not getting through this would have been on the list!! It must of taken all of 5 minutes to make. Some of the others were weeks of work!!

   hmm i see what you were trying to do, but i couldnt help but notice the first recorded voice says “eartquakes”. wow i didnt know that they are something caused by global warming, well you learn something new every day!!

    What is with all the negativity?

    I cant help but notice it is like the same two posters on EVERY video ?
    It is a little sus??
    It is a little snide.

    I did not know for ages that some scientists think glaciers hold down earthquake activity in seismically active regions
    But thousands of years ago after the first ice age when glaciers started to melt places like scandanvia and canada experiences an increase in earthquake activity

    Melting glaciers dont exactly CAUSE earth quakes they are caused by movements or force building up in the crust until something buckles BUT that force pushes up into high mountains where glaciers form the force of the glaciers pushing down can cut stabilize this force by counterbalancing it if not eliminating it altogether

    SO whilst earthquakes are not caused by global warming ..global warming does destroy something that naturally calms earthquake activity or even stops it altogether in some regions.

    So whilst global warming does not cause earthquakes by destroying and removing a natural deterrent there will be an increase in seismic activity WHICH WILL CAUSE EARTHQUAKES.

    Global warming removes and destroys a force(glaciers) that naturally counterbalances the one that causes earthquakes(force and strain within the earth’s crust) to put it simply.

    In a competition, there are always finalists and those who don’t get through. The problem we had was that there were so many fantastic videos to choose from that there was inevitably going to be great films that didn’t make it, especially as we had to meet a criteria for each category.

    However, we’ve decided to rectify this a little and reward 5 more great videos. These have been added to the shortlist and will also guaranteed receive a subscription to Shooting People. They will be on our homepage soon.
