   I always thought starting a car engine used more petrol than idling for a while, I wonder who started that urban myth - yes Shell / BP / Total - I’m looking at you…They should also ban zebra crossings / road crossings in general as these cause people to idle. Install big trampolines as well and this would have the double header of reducing obesity too.

   Great idea - a change from the usual save the planet stuff. Like ol I thought a car engine used more petrol starting up. Where did you get your new fact from?

   Very clever way of making your point. I also was unaware of the ‘10 second rule’ as it were, a bit of research goes a long way, it appears.
