hmmm its the old video with a new ending and a better title now! But I think you need more than a bottle of water in the last bit! Nice idea though!

  2. stelios alexandrakis Says:

Thanx mate but it’s not realism.. the bottle is a symbol of what is going to happen.. killing each other for a bottle of water..

  3. stelios alexandrakis Says:

It’s a miniature of different nations fighting each other for just a bottle of water

  4. Elizabeth Stevens Says:

Wow! Great video. Great production values. I think the bottle of water at the end is perfect.

  5. rachel carroll Says:

I love this. Bottle of water ending is essential!

  6. Saba Says:

    wow!

A bit of self indulgence here. Did not like the theme. Compare this to My paper boat, entry, similar message, yet far more effective.

  8. Karthick Says:

Very well taken….Wonderfully edited. But, my logic tells, when once climate change sets in full flow, there will not be war for “Water”… it will be war for “Land” …. We would see the glaciers melt and Lands flooded….Do you agree?

And I can assure you this video is surely better than “Paper boat” which i personally feel is a bit unscientific melodrama…

  9. Dominic Lyddon Says:

Yes land will be part of it but I think this is more about drinkable water not just water! Yes there will probably be more sea water but maybe more polluted water and higher population and more draughts etc.? Is that really the maker of paper boat posting that comment or somone else? Good luck all!

In a competition, there are always finalists and those who don’t get through. The problem we had was that there were so many fantastic videos to choose from that there was inevitably going to be great films that didn’t make it, especially as we had to meet a criteria for each category.

However, we’ve decided to rectify this a little and reward 5 more great videos. These have been added to the shortlist and will also guaranteed receive a subscription to Shooting People. They will be on our homepage soon.

    The five videos are:

Tank head, Nature finds a way, Paving the planet, Earth clock, Restore the earth

WHAT WAFFLE FROM THE JUDGES THESE FILMS SHOULD BE REMOVED!

    THIS COMPETITION HAS BEEN CORRUPTED!

Great film, bad title. You missed a trick here. How about… ‘The Drop’
